In 2025, you can benefit from a 65% tax deduction for heat pumps through the Ecobonus, while photovoltaic systems are incentivized by the Energy Income or the Thermal Account, which can cover up to 65% of the costs, provided the system is installed together with a heat pump Deductions, if granted, can be spread over 10 years (Ecobonus) or paid in 2–5 years / in a single installment (Thermal Account).
65% Deduction (Ecobonus)
- Heat Pump: Installing a heat pump (Class A) as the main heating system of your home entitles you to the Ecobonus, a 65% tax deduction.
- Combinability: The Ecobonus can be combined with other interventions, such as installing a photovoltaic system.
Incentives for Photovoltaic Systems
- Energy Income 2025: Managed by GSE, this incentive targets households and provides a non-repayable contribution for residential photovoltaic systems. The amount is €2,000 plus €1,500 for each kW installed.
- Thermal Account 3.0: Allows contributions of up to 65% of the cost. For photovoltaic systems, it can only be requested if installed together with a heat pump.
